Fever Frieze (Spring, 2019)
Winter in New England is long. I love it. But I’m ready, too, for spring when it comes, impatient and riotous. Everything is on the move, fast and slow, with only an occasional rest. The energy is intoxicating, like a fever. That’s what this series of pictures is about: the explosion of energy in the spring.
My thought was to make a frieze—a fever frieze—wrapping around a wall. To view it, you would need to move, too. Fast or slow.
